Can’t believe I didn’t think of checking this yesterday when I was wondering about the Spincrease chart. It measures the bullet on all stations, monitored and not – and when looking at the “all stations” chart:
    62 46 ADAM LAMBERT Better Than I Know M… 206 71 135 0.58

ETA: it obviously means that BTIKM has pretty strong support from unmonitored stations at this point in its lifespan 🙂

When I tracked the previous singles on Canadian radio the support was always bigger overall, than in the monitored stations only. Weird.

I guess it is kinda unfortunate for charting purposes that the relative contribution from smaller unmonitored stations is higher, but it’s all ears hearing it, so that’s good. Funny though that although almost half the spins are from unmonitored stations only 1/6 of the AI is – but that just really goes to show how small the stations are.

Right now, it looks like BTIKM will do better on HAC vs. CHR stations, at least at the beginning. Adam has tweeted his followers to start calling radio stations. Maybe, Adam will get a whole bunch of HAC and CHR adds on his add dates (like Kelly did), which would be good to synchronize the start of spins? Does that make sense?

P.S. Nice to “see” you again, lob. 🙂

Nice to “see” you too fuzzy. I think it does make sense what you are saying. BTIKM is a more HAC leaning song and Adam did better on HAC than CHR last era, so it makes sense that BTIKM would catch on on HAC first.
I’m hoping that RCA have done their homework and solicited a lot of adds. I would love a nice synchronised radio roll-out this time and an Adds week as Kelly just had would be insanely great.
Anyway I’m definitely looking forward to the next few weeks, for good or bad, it’s going to be interesting to follow for sure!
