Canada gets to Sleepwalk!!!

A special message for Canadian Glamberts

We’ve been thrilled by the amount of feedback we’ve received on the site and through Facebook and Twitter for a new single in Canada. With that being said, “Sleepwalker” will be serviced to Canadian radio next Monday, October 25.

As always, we love your enthusiasm Glamberts! However, please remember that radio stations can become easily overwhelmed with requests and that being respectful and patient often yields the best results.

I’ve already asked this question in 3 plaaces, LOL! But, didn’t IIHY do better in the US than it did in Canada.

No, top 10 in hot 100, top 10 in pop and top 10 in HAC in Canada.

No, IIHY peaked either just inside or just outside the top10 on C-POP (I think) and got to #3 in C-HAC (which is really more like US-POP). I don’t think it has been certified in Canada so we don’t know how much it sold, but I think it was doing better on C-iTunes than on US-iTunes.
So far all of Adam’s singles have done better in Canada, but I think in relation to each other they’ve done about the same in both countries, in that WWFM>IIHY>>>>>FYE.

But I do believe that the choice of SW for Canada instead of Fever means that there is a realistic possibility that the US will get SW as well. *crosses fingers*

That’s what I was thinking too, lob. If they weren’t going do do a US single, then I think they would have gone with Fever for Canada.

Cool! So glad that Canada is getting another single. Personally, I would have preferred “Fever”, but so many fans seem to like SW. It will be interesting to see how well SW does in radioplay in Canada.
