Well that was a bummer after yesterday’s adds. Boo!

  2. fuzzywuzzy1 says:

Yeah, a little deflating. I’m hoping that the new added stations play IIHY, even moderately, so that it will regain some momentum.

  3. lob says:

Not too happy with the numbers today – hopefully they’ll pick up soon (at least POP should with the adds, crossing fingers for HAC).

Looking at Kworb’s chart- it looks like it is down across the board. Even Nelly is in the low 100’s when he was seeing 200+ updates last week. Katy is in the 200’s instead of 300’s.

Yes, very few bullet increases except for songs that have been dropping. Which might suggest an after the holidays effect.

Stations might not have adjusted the playlists much compared to a week earlier.
Look at Drake: -61 (+177 bullet increase) or CG -155 (+149) or CTM -70 (+85) which indicates that stations didn’t drop them as much as the week before.

If stations stick more to last weeks playlist than in other weeks. Dropping songs should have smaller decreases and rising songs should have smaller increases and that is what I am seeing on Kworb’s chart today.

Or I could just be talking out of my ass.

Whatever it is, in the context of the songs around IIHY, it is not that bad. Lets see what the new adds do. Might take a few days for them to really kick in though

I updated justgills sales and BB chart to reflect the update for FYE- can someone tell me how I can copy and paste it to be on a new post? I just want to do that on Wednesdays when we get those numbers.

  6. jtfacts says:

Mar, I think you could be right about rotations not getting changed thanks to the holiday.

As far as songs around IIHY, it looks to me like Secrets started getting PC overnight spins today and will probably put some distance between it and IIHY over the next few days, depending on when and how much Cumulus spins kick in for IIHY.
